What can get rid of scars?

My legs are covered in scars and i just can get rid of them. I've tried medical ointments, scar removers, ect. and nothing works. My doctor is hopeless when it comes to the scars on my legs. Could sombody recomend somthing? Please?What can get rid of scars?
OK - please try evening primrose oil capsules. You won't look back. Get them from your health food store - use a good brand such as Blackmores. Take a couple at night (they can make you sleepy). These are jam packed full of vitamin E and will also improve your skin allover, as well as your hair, nails and temperament - seriously, they improve your mood as well. To work from the outside as well you can pierce a capsule and rub the oil into your scars a couple of times a day. Stay out of the sun when you have the oil on your body. You can also use rosehip oil - which is known to be beneficial in removing scars, and also use vegesorb (a vegetable based sorbelene cream) and rub in after your shower every day. You can use vegesorb instead of soap to reduce any further irritation.What can get rid of scars?
I have the same problem as you. I have scars over my legs and arms. I've gone to doctors and done ointments as well. Nothing has worked for me. Unfortunately, it's permanent. Here's a good thing about scars: show them off! Ladies dig a brave man with scars! ;)

Vitamin E. You can take pills or the oil. Whatever you get .. make sure it has Vit. E in it
Try lemon juice. It's good at bleaching freckles they say. Might work for scars too.

How can I remove the scars?

I've been getting spots on my face since the age of about 9, and they've now been bothering me ever since.


However, when I was younger I didn't understand the effects squeezing would have on my face in the future.


Now I have all these 'pot-holes' on my face.

those are the only over the counter things I can think of but nothing will beat seeing a dermatologist!! Im not sure how those items work on the face but they both work good on scars..i would try mederma first since it is a cream and bio oil may make your skin breakoutHow can I remove the scars?
You should try using something like bi oil or I know that neturgena has a fading of scars medicine i am not sure what it is called but just remember that you will still have scars the products will just lighten them
mederma.. the scars should fade away in time.. i dont really know ur condition so u might want to check with a dermatologist..

Well, does it? I've gotten hypertrophic scars on the back of my arms due to having acne. My doctor says that they'll go away over time, but I heard about Mederma and was thinking if that would work.

My daughter has a hypertrophic scar on her neck/throat area from having to have a trachea inserted when she was in a near fatal car crash and in a coma for 3 months. She had the trachea in for about 5 months.





The nurses recommended Mederma, which we did use. I'm not sure if the Mederma helped to flatten the scars a bit, not completely or if it was just the natural healing. The Mederma did fade away the redness. I don't know how long you've had the scars but the key for treating these type of scars is time. You have to start working on them almost immediately. Applying pressure on them will help in flattening them.





All in all I feel that the Mederma did help and it certainly can't hurt to try it. But you have to use it every day %26amp; we used it several times a day.
