First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Try dabbing toothpaste or honey on your zits before you go to bed - works wonders.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.I have acne and scars on my face(especially my forehead). What should i do??
start with scrubing your face with a good facial scrub then splash cold water on, towel dry, then apply a non oily moisturizer all over lightly. and drink lost's of water and eat lot's of fruit and stay away from caffeine
well if u stay away from caffine and choclate and also drink lots of water and leave the zits alone meaning do NOT pop them unless they are WHITEheads u should be okay also clean your face first with neutragiena or somthing like that then using using a clean wash cloth put hot not warm hot water on it then scrub your face with it after that take an icecube and rub it on your face that is supposed to close your pores then take an oil free facial lotion and rub it on your face after you do this you will understand why you will need the lotion
MEDERMA works wonders and is only $13 for a tube at your local drugstore. i developed cystic acne unfortunately, which leaves scarring, and i use mederma every day and night under my make up and when i sleep. it is the best i've ever found, however, the only downside is it takes some time. usually weeks, but its not as fast, say as laser:( but defintely less expensive!
Fear not! You still have a lot of options...

First of all, try to relax! Stress only makes acne worse, and if you're constantly touching, scratching, poking, and grabbing at your face.. Stop! Also, don't use harmful junk on your face, especially anything that makes it dry out or peel. You skin needs to heal itself! Stuff like that only hurts it.

Now, be sure you're eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, and exercising... I know, it sounds dumb, and everyone says it.. But it's true. I've had acne scars for about 3 years now and they're finally going away thanks to a healthy life style.

To take care of the acne Wash your face day AND night, with an oil free SENSITIVE skin face wash. I use Clearasil, and I love it. I also use different products to both help clear away the scar tissue AND fight my acne. Such as a facial mask that I use about twice a week (St. Ives Peel off Hydroxy Masque), an exfoliator (Neutrogena Visibly Even) that I use weekly, and a good moisturizer (Neutrogena Advanced Moisture) that I use after every face wash.

This stuff takes time, the only opinion that matters is your own, so don't worry about it I'm. Life is too short to be worried about what others think of you, hold your head up and be positive. =)

Drink 2l of water every day. Thats no1.

I have tried everthing also, from proactive to Microdermabrasion. I have found 1 good product for drying the pimples up, its amazing after the pimple is formed but not so good for preventing it from coming up its called Banzac and you can get it from a chemist.

Otherwise im on my 3rd day of doing a 2 week old remady , so im not sure if it will work or not, but so far its going ok, this may sound crazy cause everyone always tells you to stay away from oil based products but here it goes anyway , apply olive oil to your face twice a day for 2 weeks, after that once a day. You can give that a go.
believe it or not, i have two friends who used proactiv and it actually works. trust me it does!
