What are some ways to get rid of scars...?

Ok so i have a fare few scars that are a bit darker than my skin, which annoy me heaps :| Anyone have any ways to get rid of them?


Also that don't involve lemons or anything too expensive.

vitamin E is good for scars. If you break open the gelcap %26amp; put in on your scar. It's better for new scars, but it might be worth a shot for old ones. If that doesn't work, def get Mederma, it's lotion specially made to fade scars. But it can be about $30 from what I remember.
Some places, or local doctor could hand over some medical treatment to make them fade away (my mother requested this), but if you're looking for a quick and cheap option you could hide the scars with make-up.
