How to hide old ';cutting'; scars...?

i was a ';cutter'; when i was a teen, something i think is totally stupid and embarrassing today. Anyway, i work closely with people and have had a few people ask ';what happened?'; Its embarrassing to admit i was so stupid but if u saw my arm u would know that NOTHING else could have created scars like these. so its hard to make excuses....

does anyone know how i can cover them up or make them go away?How to hide old ';cutting'; scars...?
Just use concealer, that matches your skin of course.How to hide old ';cutting'; scars...?
Use vitamin E or Mederma or just some makeup, but makeup would probably make it look worse . So i would use vitamin E probably because it is cheap and works well!
Vitamin E cream is supposed to make scars fade. They may not ever go away, but if you are concerned, you should see a dermatologist.

You could wear long sleeves to avoid the questions but I really do think since it is part of your life, that you shouldn't hide it.

If it does embarrass you though, like you said, then when someone asks about the scars you could simply say, ';They are from something that happened when I was younger and I would rather not talk about it.';

It isn't anyone's business what happened, and it is rude for them to ask about it in the first place.
Try using scar cream. It might not work if it was a long time ago, but its worth a try. When people ask, say they're from a thorn bush or you got scratched by your dog.
u see people said to use vitamin E

well use bio oil its especially made for scarring and it has vitamin E inside.

but its going to take longer for older scars

but if their new they should be gone in about a few days.
the best way to cover them up is to put make-up on them and wear thigs like armbands, bracelets, watches, and other accessories
Hmm,

good question. You can use vit e or they sell scar things to put over them but in my opionion. Nothing will help.

Just say there from a thron bush
I heard that mederma (not sure if this is the correct spelling) works really well. They have the kind for new scars %26amp; the kind for older scars! I hope this helps!
